What We Actually Do

How we're different from submitting your resume online.

When you apply through a job board, your resume goes into a folder. Someone may look at it. Many don't.

When you work with Mid-Atlantic Talent, we call the hiring manager directly. We explain your background. We advocate for the right offer. We've built relationships with companies in this region over years, and we use them on your behalf.

We also give you honest feedback. If we think your resume needs work, we'll say so. If a role isn't the right fit for where you want to go, we'll tell you that too. We're not trying to place you in anything. We're trying to place you in the right thing.

We get on the phone and talk. We want to understand your background, your goals, and what kind of company you'd actually want to work for. Not just the title and salary range, though we'll cover those too.

We make the right introductions

We only bring you opportunities worth your time. If we don't have anything right now that fits what you're looking for, we'll tell you that, and keep you in mind when something comes up. We'd rather wait for the right fit than push you into the wrong one.

We stay in it through the end

Interview prep, offer review, managing any counteroffers from your current employer. We're in this with you until you're through the door and settled in. After that, we check in to make sure things are going the way they should.
