Industries We Serve

Four verticals. Hundreds of roles. Real expertise in all of them.

We chose these four industries and stayed in them. Below is a breakdown of who we place and what that looks like in practice.

Engineering

We place engineers across manufacturing, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. The roles range from project-level positions to senior technical and management-track placements. Most of our clients in this vertical are mid-sized manufacturers, engineering consultancies, and industrial firms across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

Discuss a Role

Mechanical Engineer

Design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems. Ranges from product development to plant and process equipment roles.

Project Engineer

Technical oversight and coordination on engineering projects. Often a stepping stone to PM, but also a long-term career track for those who prefer the technical side.

Structural Engineer

Analysis and design of structural systems for buildings, bridges, and industrial infrastructure. PE license common at mid-career and above.

Civil Engineer

Site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and transportation infrastructure. We place in both public and private sector environments.

Process Engineer

Optimization of manufacturing and production processes. Common in chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial manufacturing settings.

Engineering Manager

Technical leadership roles overseeing engineering teams and programs. Requires a blend of hands-on background and management experience.

Construction

We work with general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and owners' representatives across commercial, industrial, and civil construction. The market here is competitive and we know it well. Good project managers and supers are genuinely hard to find, and our network in this vertical reflects years of building those relationships.

Discuss a Role

Project Manager

Full project lifecycle ownership from preconstruction through closeout. We place PMs at every level, from first-time to senior and VP-track candidates.

Superintendent

Field leadership on commercial, industrial, and civil projects. Strong supers with clean safety records are among the hardest positions to fill in this market.

Estimator

Preconstruction cost estimating for GCs and specialty contractors. We place estimators from junior to chief, across both hard-bid and negotiated work.

Project Engineer

Supporting PMs and supers with documentation, submittals, RFIs, and field coordination. Common entry point for four-year construction management graduates.

Safety Manager / Director

Site and corporate safety programs, compliance, and incident management. Experience with OSHA standards and an active credential are standard requirements.

Operations / Division Manager

Senior leadership overseeing multiple projects and teams. Often involves P&L responsibility and business development alongside operational oversight.

Information Technology

We recruit IT professionals for companies that need people who can actually do the job, not just check boxes on a requirements list. Our focus is on infrastructure, systems, data, and application-level roles, primarily for mid-sized companies in the mid-Atlantic that don't have a large internal talent acquisition team.

Discuss a Role

Systems Administrator

Management of servers, networks, and end-user systems. Ranges from SMB generalist to enterprise-level specialist with specific platform expertise.

Software Engineer / Developer

Application development across web, backend, and full-stack roles. We focus on permanent placements, not contract staffing or staff aug.

Network Engineer

Design, configuration, and management of LAN/WAN infrastructure. CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are common at the mid-level.

Data Analyst / BI Analyst

Turning operational data into decisions. Tools vary widely by client, but SQL, Excel, and at least one BI platform (Power BI, Tableau) are standard asks.

IT Manager / Director

Technical leadership for in-house IT teams. Usually a blend of hands-on background and experience managing vendors, budgets, and internal stakeholders.

Cybersecurity Analyst

Security monitoring, incident response, and compliance. Demand has increased significantly and qualified candidates are genuinely hard to find at every level.

Operations

Operations roles are often the hardest to fill well because the requirements are broad and the impact of a bad hire is felt everywhere. We've placed ops professionals across manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and professional services. The common thread is people who know how to make things run more efficiently than they found them.

Discuss a Role

Operations Manager

Day-to-day oversight of production, logistics, or service delivery. Usually owns KPIs, team management, and process improvement simultaneously.

Plant Manager

Full P&L and operational responsibility for a manufacturing or production facility. Requires hands-on technical credibility alongside leadership experience.

Supply Chain Manager

Procurement, vendor management, inventory control, and logistics coordination. Experience with ERP systems is standard in most searches at this level.

Warehouse / Distribution Manager

Leadership of distribution center or warehouse operations. Includes staffing, layout optimization, safety compliance, and productivity targets.

Quality Manager / Director

Quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement programs. ISO and Six Sigma backgrounds are common in manufacturing and industrial clients.

Director of Operations / VP of Operations

Senior leadership overseeing all operational functions. Typically a strategic role with board or ownership-level reporting. Often confidential.
